About
Deeply inspired by his father’s work in development and interior design, Alexander's weekends as a child were often spent exploring construction sites and sifting through antique shops alongside his father. Growing up in Southern California, he developed a passion for the vibrant and eclectic nature of the built environment.
This early immersion in design led him on a life-changing journey to Vicenza, Italy, at the age of 16. There, he apprenticed under Master Sculptor Renato Celsan, absorbing the subtleties of Italian culture and creating timeless sculptures rooted in history.
Alexander’s artistic journey continued in New York City, where he studied Architectural Design at Parsons The New School University. A semester at Columbia University in Paris deepened his love for the interplay between old and new, sparking a creative fusion of contemporary and revival design in his work.
His first major project took him to Kunming, China, to design an ice winery in the picturesque Derong Valley. Back in the United States, Alexander worked on some of the largest residential developments in New York and Los Angeles under the visionary architect Jean-Gabrielle Neukomm. For the past four and a half years, he has been a driving force in WeWork’s Global Design Studio, shaping the future of interior design and spatial experiences.
Now, as Head of Design at a burgeoning furniture startup in New York City, Alexander continues to infuse his projects with creativity and passion. He also consults on various real estate developments in New York and California, bringing a unique blend of artistry and human touch to every space he designs.
